Egg drop task

Kia ora bloggers, one Wednesday we did a task with an egg.

we had to use sellotape, 3 sheets of paper,  string, and a plastic bag. we used all of it and had 2 sheets of paper to spare. we did the task within the time limit that we were given. and then we went to sky-high and dropped our egg holding master peace. a couple of people went before us and none had succeeded yet, we went and only had a small crack in our egg about the size of a hair. there was one group after us that had no cracks so we lost by one little crack.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post, have you ever done STEAM?

-Scratch weather

Kia Ora Readers,

In Maori over the past couple of weeks, we have been learning how to say what the weather's like in Maori. In this presentation, the weather is (Wera) which means hot in Maori.

Before we got to work on our scratch animations we learned all of the different ways to say what the weather is like in Maori. Some other ones are

(Makariri)-cold

(ua)-rainy

(paki)-fine.

If you know any other ways to say the weather in Maori. I hope you enjoyed this blog post leave a comment if you have any questions or feedback?

- camp high-ropes

Kia ora bloggers- for camp this year we went to YMCA camp which is based in Wainui.

My favorite part of camp was the high-ropes because I had the most interest in going high up and walking along the plank. As you can see in the animation my shirt ripped when lucas come down which was very sad as it was my good long sleeve shirt from COUNTRY ROAD. do you like camp? if so what camp was your fav????
